Industrial Visit


  • • Students will visit an industry every semester for valuable exposure and hands-on experience.
  • • This visit aims to provide a foundational understanding of how industries operate.

Some of the Industrial Visit

1. Etelligens Technology, Greater Noida

Department has successfully organised one day industrial visit at Etelligens Technologies India, 12th Floor, Tower 1, Artha SEZ, Greater Noida West– 201009 on 24-05-2025. Etelligens is a trusted software development company that was established in 2014 with a small group of engineers and developers. Now it’s grow up with over 100+ in house designers, developers, project managers and QA engineers. Our fifty students of B.Tech (CSE) 2nd year, along with two faculty members, visited the organization. The students gained an understanding of the working environment of the organization and learned about the emerging technologies in software development.

2.NS3 Tech Solutions, Gurgaon

A two-day industrial visit was organized at NS3 Tech Solutions, B9-301, Old DLF, Sector-14, Gurgaon – 122001, on 12th April 2025 and 26th April 2025. NS3 Tech Solutions is a networking-based organization that deals in data analysis enriched with insights and artificial intelligence that is more “genius” than “gizmo.” A total of seventy-two students of B.Tech (CSE) 3rd year, along with four faculty members, visited the organization. The students gained an understanding of networking project development, the working environment, and the available training and job opportunities in the networking domain.

3.CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a one-day industrial visit on 24th October 2024 to the CSIR–National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Dr. K. S. Krishnan Marg, New Delhi – 110012. A total of fifty students from B.Tech (CSE) 2nd year, accompanied by two faculty members, visited the organization. During the visit, students visited research laboratories and gained valuable insights into the ongoing research projects undertaken under the Government of India.

4.Central Road Research Institute

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a one-day industrial visit to the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), Delhi – Mathura Road, P.O. CRRI, New Delhi – 110025, on 30th September 2024. CRRI is a premier national laboratory established in 1952, a constituent of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Total ninety six students of B.Tech (CSE) 2nd year, accompanied by six faculty members, visited the organization. During the visit, students understood the significance of computer science applications in construction materials, particularly in the development and use of smart materials at construction sites.

5. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) , C-56/1, Anusandhan Bhawan, Institutional Area, Sector 62, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201307 on 26.09.2023. Students have informative sessions with Dr. Arti Noor, Senior Director of CDAC.

The objective of C-DAC in software technology research is to foster R & D activities in the following sub-domains of software technologies: - Software-Intensive Systems Engineering, Emerging Software Technologies, Distributed Systems and Database Technology. The Education and Training Wing focuses on generation of quality manpower both in formal education as well as advanced computing areas. As part of its formal education initiative C-DAC. The center provides training in niche areas of ICT. It also provides skillful training of courses in various specializations like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Advanced Software Development, Cloud Computing, Block Chain, Embedded Systems etc. The centre also has a Tier – III Design Certified Data Centre which is currently being upgraded to achieve an uptime Tier- III Certification facility with concurrent maintainability standards. The primary activity in all centers of C-DAC is research and development in specific areas of information and communication technology and electronics (ICTE).

6. The Department of CSE successfully organized an Industrial Visit to NCMRWF, Centre of Super Computing, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India for B.Tech third year students on 04-10-2023.

As the primary objective of this visit is to match the theoretical knowledge with the real working environment. There are also some other objectives which are as follow:-

  • ⇒Student will get expose to the real application of industry machinery.
  • ⇒Students are able to get the knowledge, and picture of working departments in the real configuration which is difficult to imagine in theory classes.
  • ⇒Students will be able to understand what are practical elements or components in working space area, either with manual or automated systems & working with real projects.
  • ⇒To become aware of the role of different people in an organization.
  • ⇒To become aware of career opportunities.
  • ⇒To recognize the need for health and safety in the workplace.
  • ⇒Students are able to focus on specific aspects of their studies.
