Interaction Session on "Transforming Healthcare and Banking with Generative AI”
The Department of CSE (Data Science) at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, organized an Interaction Session on "Transforming Healthcare and Banking with Generative AI" on April 7, 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Sachin Kumar, Director of Innovation and Head of Generative AI at Pepsico, Bangalore. The event aimed to provide insights into the applications of Generative AI in healthcare and banking, emphasizing automation, decision-making, and efficiency improvements in these industries.
Data Science and Machine Learning
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad organized a Guest Lecture on 9th May 2025. The event featured an insightful expert talk by Mr. Pulkit Kapoor, Data Scientist at InfoEdge India Pvt. Ltd. The session aimed to bridge the academic and industrial gap in the field of data science by discussing practical applications, recent technological advancements, and offering strategic career guidance to aspiring data professionals.
REGIONAL RAIL RAPID-X
This session gives students valuable insights into the integration of technology in transportation operations. The event marked a significant step toward fostering a generation of data and technology professionals who can contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of regional rail systems.
On 26th May 2023, the Department of CSE (DS) organized an awareness session on Regional Rail "Rapid-X" by the NCRTC team at Raj Kumar Goyal Institute of Technology Ghaziabad, Meerut Road. Mr. Puneet Vats (CRPO) of Rapid X gave a presentation about Regional Rail. He has taken a very informative session. All the information related to Rapid-X was given, which is very beneficial for us. Students actively participated during the question-answer session and answered very well and all doubts were clarified. And the Rapid-X team organized a street play. Seeing which all the students were very excited.
AWARENESS OF CYBER CRIME AND FRAUD
On February 6th, 2023, an expert talk on "Awareness of Cyber Crime and Fraud" was conducted for the second-year students from 10 am to 12 pm. The event was coordinated by Ms. Pooja Chaudhary and Mr. Manas Tripathi, in collaboration with the Cyber Cell team.
Expert Talk on a comprehensive understanding of the risks and dangers associated with cybercrime the talk covered topics such as phishing, identity theft, ransomware, and hacking, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the various types of cybercrime. The experts also discussed the importance of password management, software updates, and other measures that individuals can take to protect themselves from cybercrime.
