Student Induction Program (SIP) is conducted for B.Tech 1st year students as per the guidelines of AICTE in the beginning of the semester. The main objective of the Student Induction Program(SIP) is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration. During the Induction program, various activities were conducted, viz. Yoga, light exercise, a local visit to nearby places, extempore competitions, Yantrikom Society activities, etc.
The B.Tech First-Year Induction Program organized by the Applied Sciences & Humanities department proved instrumental in facilitating a smooth transition for incoming students. The program is featured a mix of engaging activities, starting with the registration and ice-breaking session, fostering a sense of community. A campus tour and interactive sessions with faculty provided essential insights into college life and the importance of Applied Sciences and humanities in engineering education.
he academic orientation includes various subject classes, preparing students for their academic journey. Yantricom, a technical exhibition, and the Extempore competition add both technical and communication dimensions to the program.
