Shri H. G. Garg, Dean (Student Welfare) has been a distinguished officer who superannuated in the rank of Inspector General after 35 years meritorious service in the Govt. of India (BSF). He is one of the most decorated officers in the Country who was conferred three covetted awards by the President of India, namely, the President Police Medal for Gallantry (1979), Police Medal for Meritorious Service (1994) and the President Police Medal for Distinguished Service (2002). .
