Dr. Shailender Kumar Gaur

HOD CSE (Second Shift)

Dr. Shailender Kumar Gaur joined Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology on 27 June, 2009 in the department of Computer Science & Engineering. He has large experience of teaching research and administration at institutes of repute.

He earned his B.E.(CSE) with honors from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (An Institute of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India), Distt Sangrur, Punjab in 2001.

He did his M.E.(CSE) from NITTTR (An Institute of Ministry of Human Resource Development ,Government of India), Chandigarh in 2007.

He has many years of teaching & research exposure. He has published & presented many research papers in various national & international conferences. He has guided many students for their M.Tech Thesis and B.Tech. projects.

Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal needs.

Learning is a continuous process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree, especially because steady and rapid advances in computing technologies shorten the life of tools and techniques prevalent today. Therefore they are given a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques, and are made adaptable to changes.

As HOD, I wish to take this opportunity to assure you that I will try my best to maximize student participation in the department and will keep the administration transparent.
